Horizontal trajectory based mobile multi-sink routing in underwater sensor networks

Scientific, commercial, exploration, and monitoring applications of underwater sensor networks have drawn the attention researchers toward investigation routing protocols that are robust, scalable, energy efficient. This has brought significant research in network layer protocols. Irrespective field application it is desirable to increase lifetime by reducing consumed nodes or balancing entire network. Energy refers uniform distribution network’s residual such all remain alive for a long time. It requires consumption each node instead same being involved every transmission. In this paper, we discuss two methods three-dimensional environments which water region under monitor divided into subregions equal height subregion sink. Nodes send data sink designated subregion. The first method called static multi-sink uses sinks second horizontal trajectory-based mobile (HT-MMR) with trajectory. Simulation results show proposed HT-MMR reduces average tax 16.69% 16.44% respectively. efficient as enhances 11.11%.
